Captain Jon has been an avid hunter – and all-around outdoorsman – his entire life. He has a reputation of being one of the best and most experienced hunters on Chincoteague Island. He started duck hunting as a youngster and over the years he has established duck blinds in some of the very best hunting locations around the Island. He would love to take you to his best producing spots. Here’s how it works: You can hunt Ducks, Canada Geese, Snow Geese, Brant, Scooters, Old Squall, and Swam (if you have a valid Swan permit). You will meet Captain Jon at his dock at 7634 East Side Drive. Captain Jon will take you by boat to the duck blind. Hunts begin a half hour before sunrise and end at 2pm. Captain Jon provides the boat, blinds, and decoys. He will guide you every step of the way. You bring your guns and ammunition. You are also welcome to bring your hunting dog.
