New Years Eve – Chincoteague Island Horseshoe Drop & Costume Promenade
This event will take place in Robert Reed Downtown Park at 11:00 p.m. “The Chincoteague Island Horseshoe Drop is an end of year celebration that culminates in a promenade of crazy costumes just before the countdown to the stroke of midnight. That’s when the lighted horseshoe drops just in time to ring in the New Year!” You are encouraged to wear your favorite costume or just come and take it all in! This event is sponsored by Christmas By The Sea. Prizes will be awarded for various categories so join in the fun.
