Fishing with Marshland Charters

The waters around Chincoteague Island are some of the most productive fishing grounds in the mid-Atlantic region. With over 35 years fishing these waters, Captain Matt knows where the fish are and he will put you on them! Flounder, trout, croaker, puffers, sea bass, and bluefish are some of the fish you will have an opportunity to catch.

We operate our fishing charters on 24 foot pontoon boat with hard top (to keep you out of the sun) and bathroom. We limit our tours to six passengers so there is plenty of room for everyone to spread out and fish.

We gladly furnish all your bait, fishing rod and equipment. If you have a favorite rod you are welcome to bring it along. Cooler with ice is furnished for your catch. We will also fillet and skin 5 fish per person and store in zip lock bags.
