Welcome to the Chincoteague Pony Centre, Edition 2011. This is our 12th season of operation, and we love the ponies as much as ever, if not more. The first foal is on the ground, and at the Pony Centre when we are open. The gift shoppe is now open Fridays and Saturdays, and about Mid May, the gift shoppe will be going to a six day schedule. (We are closed Sundays). The very first pony show of the season will be held Saturday May 28, at 8 p.m., with some old favorites and new additions, and of course, featuring the special Pony obstacle Race. Pony rides, Horseback lessons designed with tourist horse enthusiasts in mind, pony rides for the little ones, pony day camps for the kids, and more are all part of the daily life at the Chincoteague Pony Centre.

If you love Chincoteague ponies, you have to come to the Pony Centre, where Misty family descendents mingle with veterans of the swim in our paddocks, our gift shoppe is filled with wonderful items for both the horse enthusiast as well as the non-horseman.
