Inland Charter Fishing
The Islander for 2014 is a 22 ft. C-Hawk with Bimini Top. Deep and roomy with Deep Vee hull for a safe and smooth ride. Front, mid and aft seating provides generous fishing room.
Offering inshore fishing charters with all tackle (or bring your own), bait, ice for fish and fishing licenses included. Fish for flounder, sea trout, bluefish, croaker, spot, kingfish and more.
Fishing charters are from 8am to 12 noon by advance reservation only. Custom charters available. The Islander departs from Curtis Merritt Harbor (follow Main Street south to end & turn left on Harbor Drive). Trips depart from the floating ramp across from Harbormaster’s Office.
Chartering with a preferred 4 person per trip maximum or 2 person per trip minimum for each 4 hour charter. We encourage you to bring a cover-up or jacket, hat, sunglasses & suntan lotion. A small cooler is allowed for sodas, snacks, etc.
Captain Mac is fully licensed and holds a USCG Master Mariner Credential. He is an island native with over 40 years experience fishing and navigating the inland waterways of Chincoteague and Assateague Islands and the surrounding areas.
