Fishawn Charters is a family-owned and operated fishing and nature tour business located on Chincoteague Island Virginia. Fishawn Charters was established in 1999 by Captains Shawn and Pat Giacobbe. Captain Shawn had worked the waters off of Chincoteague Island as a commercial waterman since 1989 and both brothers have been fishing these waters since the mid 1970's.

Our Boats

The Tortuga	Fishawn Charters is proud to cruise aboard the Tortuga, a U.S. Coast Guard inspected 50 foot vessel, certified to carry 49 passengers and 2 crewmembers. The Tortuga is the largest vessel carrying passengers for hire currently cruising out of Chincoteague. She is powered by twin diesels and has a clean, standup restroom facility as well as a spacious cabin for an occasional break from the sun.
The Fish On	Fishawn Charters has been operating the Fish On since 1995. The Fish On is a 32 foot Luhrs Sportfisherman, certified to carry 6 passengers and 2 crewmembers. The Fish On is powered by twin diesels and has a clean restroom facility and a large cockpit area for fighting tuna, mahi or mako shark.

Bait and Ice Provided - Rod Rental $5.00
Cost: $25 per person

Nature Tour Information

Trips run from Memorial Day through Labor Day
Monday through Thursday: Departs at 7pm
Friday, Saturday & Sunday: Departs at 5pm & 7pm
Tour Duration: 1 & 1/2 hours
The Tortuga departs from Curtis Merritt Harbor
Cost: $20 per person
