Built in the early 1990’s, A Baywatch Cottage is a waterfront Cape Cod style cottage/house on the northern end of Chincoteague Island, facing Oyster Bay on the south, a salt marsh estuary on the north, the owner’s house to the east and an open pony pasture to the west. This location is very popular with visitors who like to be away from traffic and near nature. It is quiet and relaxing.. Some of the famous Chincoteague Ponies graze just outside the split rail fence surrounding the yard. Geese, ducks, ospreys, shorebirds, songbirds, bunnies, and deer, frequent the area.

Available by the week in season and mini weeks in the off season, the house is fully furnished, with central air conditioning and heat, satellite T.V., washer / dryer, sun deck, and a dock. Supplied with the house are sheets, towels, starter paper products, soap, hair dryer, beach chairs, beach towels, and a cooler.

Guests are invited to use the pool, hot tub, sauna, and fitness room at the Refuge Inn.

Sleeping arrangements: 3 bedrooms with 1 queen bed each. One bedroom also has a twin size sofa bed. Two of the bedrooms are on the second floor and one is on the first floor. Maximum number of occupants is 6. (The only exception to this is a baby in arms.) There is a bathroom downstairs.
Cost by the week is $1400.00 plus 10% tax. Check Ins and outs are on Saturday Holiday weeks & Pony Penning Week - $1900.00 per week plus 10% tax $100.00 security deposit. 

Cost for three day mini vacation: $225.00 per day plus 10% tax. Prices are subject to change. 

Payment is ½ down one month after the reservation is made with the balance due one month prior to arrival. A security deposit of $100 in advance, by check or money order, is required and is returned after our guest’s departure, once the phone bill has cleared and the house is inspected. If cancellation is necessary it must be made one month prior to arrival for a full refund of security deposit and down payment.
