The Channel Bass Inn

A world of peaceful elegance surrounds you when you enter The Channel Bass Inn. Originally built as a private home in 1892,  The Channel Bass Inn was converted to a small hotel in the 1920's. Today, this Chincoteague bed and breakfast landmark has six beautifully furnished, air-conditioned rooms, including one suite, each with private bathroom. The rooms are spacious and quiet, most with king-or queen-size beds, and have comfortable sitting areas for reading and relaxing. The waters of Virginia's Chincoteague Bay can be seen from some of the rooms. The Inn also has a public tea room where a traditional English afternoon tea can be enjoyed by all visitors to Chincoteague

The Watson House B&B

Featured on the Learning Channel's "Romantic Escapes" and recipient of Chincoteague's Restoration Award, the Watson House is a recently restored Victorian home built in the late 1800's by David Robert Watson. Prior to the Civil War, two young men built a large Maryland "T" -shaped house on Main Street. One was Dr. Nathaniel Smith, who treated Union troops here during the war, and the other was Joseph Kenny, who served the Island as Postmaster. One day a young lady came to visit from Baltimore and in due course the Postmaster eventually fell in love and married her. Her sister came for a visit and, would you believe, the Doctor married the sister. However, the two sisters did not enjoy living under the same roof, so they split the house in half and moved the front half next door. 
Today, after 150 years, the two houses have been joined together again with a large garden room, and they make up the Island Manor House, Chincoteague’s historic and romantic Bed and Breakfast.  The houses have been beautifully restored and furnished with your comfort in mind. The Island Manor House a very charming and romantic ambiance, with 8 guest rooms many with water views.  
Whether you relax by the fireside with a good book in the autumn and winter or enjoy the brick courtyard, fountain and rose garden during the spring and summer, you will find warmth and hospitality in abundance year round. In addition, you will probably leave having  made some new friends.

Miss Molly's Inn

In 1886, Mr. J.T. Rowley, then known as "The Clam King of the World" built a charming Victorian home on Chincoteague Island. His daughter, "Miss Molly" was one of the Island’s best loved citizens, and she lived in the house until the age of eighty-four. Today, the house has been  beautifully restored and offers accommodations and warm  hospitality to the Island visitor. Good conversation, interesting antiques, and gentle evenings enjoying the breeze on the porches  make a  visit to Miss Molly’s a most relaxing and memorable experience.
