OVERLOOKING ASSATEAGUE ISLAND AND IT’S HISTORIC LIGHTHOUSE!
Assateague Overlook #2 is located on the eastside of Chincoteague just off the bank of the Assateague Channel. Enjoy watching the wild ponies from your balcony. Experience the wonderful breezes. Take in the breath taking views of Assateague Island and the historic Lighthouse.

You are within a stone’s throw of the town boat ramp right across the street and within a couple of blocks of Memorial Park which has a play ground, tennis courts and public pier for fishing & crabbing. It is within walking distance of shops, boat rentals, restaurants, seafood & vegetable stand and much more. 

The 2 bedroom/2 bath home is centrally air conditioned and heated and is fully furnished with everything necessary for comfortable leisure living. The upstairs bedroom has a queen size bed and down stairs has two twins that can convert to a king. The house has a deck/balcony. The living room has a queen size sleeper sofa, lounge chairs, TV, DVD, and VCR. Other items include an outside shower, grill, dishes, tableware, pots/pans, crab steamer, dishwasher, microwave, washer/dryer, pillows, and blankets. Bring your own bedding (1 Queen, 1 Queen Sleeper Sofa & 2 Twins) and towels/wash cloths.
We ask you to please leave the house in a clean, tidy condition for the next guests to arrive.
PLEASE NOTE: 
  • The MAX OCCUPANCY of six persons (1 Queen, 1 Double & 2 Twins) for the house must not be exceeded. If more room is needed, check on the other half of the house, Paradise By The Lighthouse and double the occupancy to 12.
  • No pets are allowed in the house or at the Wildlife Refuge and beach. 
  • 50% deposit is required with reservation. Balance due 30 days prior to arrival.
  • Check-in time is after 3p.m.
  • Check-out time is 10a.m.
